Hydra is our IoT product: it takes the machines you sell and makes them connected products — with your brand on top, and our infrastructure underneath.

From machine to connected product

Everyone who builds or distributes machines faces the same request: customers want to see them and follow them from their phone. Building the electronics, the app and the servers from scratch is a different trade from your own. Hydra is that trade, already done:

• Modules on board the machine — the electronics that link the machine to the network ship installed on board, inside the product you sell.
• A dedicated app, under the distributor’s brand — whoever buys the machine downloads an app carrying the name and brand of whoever sold it to them. Hydra doesn’t appear: in your customer’s eyes, the connected product is yours.
• Infrastructure managed by us — the servers, the platform and their upkeep stay with us: a distributor sells machines, it doesn’t take up running an IT infrastructure.

Why under your brand

A connected product is a relationship that goes on after the sale: every time customers open the app, they see again the brand of whoever sold them the machine — not ours. To us Hydra is a product; to you it’s a piece of your offer.

A product, not a throwaway project

Hydra is a BE Care product: the infrastructure is the same for every distributor, maintained and watched by us like everything we keep in production. What gets customised is the part that shows — the app, the brand — not the foundations.
