Let’s talk

Systems and managed security

The watch is not a support contract

A support contract answers when you call. The watch looks at your machines even when you don't call, tests the restores instead of promising them, and once a quarter proves it to you with a stopwatch in hand.

First line

Systems support

One point of contact, who knows your setup and doesn’t start from zero at every call. Whoever answers already knows how your network is laid out, where the servers are, what happened last time: the history of your infrastructure is documented, not entrusted to someone’s memory.

  • Networks, firewalls, servers and virtualisation the foundation that holds up everything else, designed and maintained by the same hand.
  • Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 users, mailboxes, shares and policies, administered as one system.
  • Workstations and printers the everyday too: the PC that won’t start, the printer that won’t print.
  • Tracked requests, not lost phone calls every request has a number, a status and a closure. You can see what’s open, and for how long.

Second line

Business continuity

A backup is not a file: it’s the certainty of getting back to work, within a time you decide. The right question is not «do you have backups?» but «if the server doesn’t come on tomorrow morning, at what time are you working again?». We answer that question in writing.

  • Copies on several levels virtual machines, servers and Microsoft 365, each with its own copy and its own rhythm. Even cloud mail and documents get lost, if nobody copies them.
  • An off-site copy, separate from the network it protects if an attack encrypts your network, the copy must not live on that network. A copy the attacker can reach is not a copy.
  • Recovery times agreed and written down how much work you can afford to lose, and how fast you’re back: numbers decided together and put in black and white, not impressions.
  • Restores tested, not promised a copy that has never been reopened is a hope. Ours get reopened, as a matter of course.

Third line

Managed security

Less exposed surface, identities under control, compliant devices. Not a product to install but a continuous process, watched by our NOC: the things that need checking every day get checked every day, by someone whose job is exactly that.

  • Identity and access who gets in, from where, with what. Nobody picks locks any more: they steal keys. Multi-factor authentication and access policies are the first defence, not a nuisance.
  • Managed, compliant devices computers and phones inventoried, encrypted and up to date. A laptop left on a train must be a cost, not a breach.
  • Next-generation antivirus, managed by us installing it is not enough: someone has to look at what it reports and act. The alerts reach the NOC, not an inbox nobody reads.
  • Updates as a process, not an emergency planned, applied and verified on a written rhythm, before a known flaw becomes the way in.

What sets us apart

Once a quarter, the recovery drill

We don’t tell you the backup is there: we show you a system that actually comes back, timed, and leave you the signed report. It’s the difference between a security service and a security invoice.

What happens

We take a real system from your infrastructure and bring it back from its copy, as if the failure had just happened. Not a simulation on paper: a restore, executed.

With a stopwatch

The recovery time gets measured, and compared with the one agreed in the contract. If the number doesn’t hold, you find out during the drill — not during the disaster.

With a signed report

What was tested, how long it took, what came up: written, signed, and yours to keep. Useful, too, when your insurer, your bank or a customer asks.

The skills, out in the open. A certification path is under way in our systems team: Proxmox VE and Backup Server, the partner antivirus academy, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft SC-300 and MD-102, ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer. BE Care’s own ISO/IEC 27001 certification is planned along the same pathway. We state it as what it is — a pathway, still under way — because the first rule of security is not telling yourself stories.
